I have been obsessed with my credit report ever since I discovered this site earlier this year. I didn't know that any of what can be done was possible. I have done well in cleaning up my CR since then but a few still remain. I went the route of disputing online even though I know via mail is the way to go. It has worked well for me and now I find myself left with a few that won't go down easy. Now, my question is, does the good 'ol request validation from the CRA while also doing the same with the creditor/CA simultaneously still work well? Also, when can the argument that a debt is too old be used? I know that debts from some 10 years ago are still trying to be recouped but would it be frivolous to claim that on a debt from 2000-2001? Another thing, once disputes are said to be frivolous...does that mean I can't dispute it anymore unless I have some sort of documents?
