I'm looking to find a B&M bank in the south that doesn't check ChexSystems. There is a program through work with Wachovia that I can do, but I think I have a Chex entry. It would have been from 1998 or so and it is paid. Does anyone know for sure? TIA
Yes they do check Chex if you can find a small credit union often they just open up checking and savings on a signature.
They go on credit scores now. Looking at yours I think you will get an account. I am in the system and just got my checks visa check card and pin on Friday. Go for it! I did it online.
i don't know about that far gone I just open up an account last month and she did the chex thing while I was sitting there. I just went online and scoped the online app they are asking for a DL number which is the link for chex. Now Erica i am not saying do this...but if you have a new DL from a another state and no bad checks on your CRs you can probably get an account any where.
I don't have it yet because I've got to change my name before getting a new DL. As many of you know, I just got married, but am still waiting on a Certified copy of my Marriage Certificate. I can't change anything until I get that. I can't open the account until I can change my name. (Dad wrote Christmas check in new name) Thanks for the responses!
