what is SBFE? Is that Equifax Business? Is Wells Fargo directly connected to them and are they their go to credit bureau when reviewing businesses?
SBFE is the "Small Business Financial Exchange". It's a national source of small business credit info., but it's not owned by Equifax. SBFE just uses them to manage the database. I'm not sure if WF uses them, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if they do. You can always ask your loan coordinator or underwriters at WF and they should be able to tell you.
yep...sounds like they do...did some research on SBFE and Wells Fargo and WF is a member of the SBFE which is only using Equifax. our rep said their system defaults to SBFE which i guess means the underwriting dept uses Eq for reports.
