Doesn't anybody on this board respond to my question?

I just did--telling you that no one has probably responded because there is no answer.

only if they can answer the question. you wouldn't want people who don't know what they are talking about responding. also, there seem to be less people on during the weekend.

You dont have to be rude about it, like everyone on this board owes you an answer.

We are lucky to have a forum like this to seek advice about our credit problems with others who have more experience than us with these issues.

Chill out, bump your question every so often if it has not been answered, and eventually someone will come along with the answer.

Also try searching for it. I dont know what your question is, but maybe no one is answering it because it might be in the new members must reads, or maybe it's a common question.

There are times where people do have a life outside of the bounds of CN (yes, believe it or not it can happen).

There are times where your question is NOT SPECIFIC enough for anyone to know how to answer.

This is the case with your "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a toosie roll pop?" question on "How many times it takes for an account to be disputed before it will be removed?"

Even in cases where there is a blatant (or should be)
*DING* *DING* *DING* DANGER WILL ROBINSON
*DING* *DING* *DING* DANGER WILL ROBINSON
*DING* *DING* *DING* DANGER WILL ROBINSON
alarm that something is blatantly incorrect about a trade line, they can still be verified.

Because the CRA usually uses the "We only report what we are told by the DF." excuse to try to wiggle out any of their own liability for not error checking to make sure that the data provided by the DF could actually happen.

BUT without knowing virtually every single detail of the trade line which you are questioning, there is no way for any one to give any type of specific answer as to how you may be more successful in getting the account deleted.

In short, your answer can only be as specific as the information which you provide.

If you have a detailed dispute of the information which is being reported, and a substantial paper-trail to backup the dispute, then your dispute will probably be a lot more successful than a simple dispute.

If you find that even when providing a detailed dispute, the information is still being verified incorrectly, then you may have some success in escalating through the BBB, or AG's office. How successful these options are depends a great deal on how detailed your complaint is.

If you have a dispute which the BBB or AG looks at, and sees the glaring errors sticking out like a sore thumb at them, and when they forward it on to the CRA there is a bright yellow post-it saying "WHY ON EARTH CAN'T YOU SEE THIS! -- BBB/AG" you may see an almost instant response.

But for giving specific advice, we need specific information.
