I will update this later as I just got my new car to its new home for the first time. I now own an Audi A4 3.0 - silver/black leather. This was a $36000 car and it has everything including: home link for garage door opening or gate opening heated seats Bose w/10 speakers - each door has two speakers rear and side built in sunscreen shades - the back is power operated LOL On the sunroof switch - you turn a dial to 1-2-3 and then the sunroof opens accordingly V6 220 HP - what can I say - its great automatic with no clutch manual option memory seats 16 inch chrome wheels dual rear chrome exhausts OK - credit? I sold the Maxima last night for the $7500! I drove to meet the buyer at the BA in Marin County. Bank Of America INSTANTLY wrote a cashiers check and I took it and signed over the title. HE DROVE ME to the Washington Mutual - across the street LOL! I deposited the cashiers check for $7500, then I withdrew a cashiers check for $10,000 - payable to Lasher Audi. HE dropped ME at HERTZ, where I jumped in a rental Toyota, and drove to Sacramento - 50 miles. The drop off point for the Hertz car was Lasher AUDI!! arrrroooo. One way cost $73. THE SITUATION: Understand that at this time - maybe 1:30 pm, I have no car and no transportation. I am not going to surf on a sea lion's back through high tides to San Francisco. I will buy that Audi - follow through, then get the loan, then pay it off in chunks. Hell - I need a car! We ran the credit once more through Audi Finance, and they would not take me because of the derogs. The dealer said he could run a couple of other places - but the interest rate could be higher. I handed him the Cap One opreapproval. Bam, I handed him the check - and the car went into detail AROOOOOOO!!!! I financed $26K - and there was nothing easier than buying that with that Cap One paper! GET THIS: The finance mgr told me Cap One was VISITING their dealer yesterday - and the Cap ONe spokesman said that these Cap One Platinum Auto Loans are only going to CAPITAL ONE customers who have excellent payments on a visa or mastercard with CAP ONE CREDIT CARD performance. Amazing - now I'm going to drive! I cannot believe it - I am thrilled! arrrfff - dogman

Congrads Dogman Told you that Max would sell outright for alot more money. Can you explain what did you have to do to get the CAP1 loan. They keep bombarding me with those offers through snailmail and email. Did they verify employment?

AROO - XENON headlamps / fog lamps front - one in rear taillight! Automatic dimming inside rear view mirror....power side mirrors with power fold --hehe Just watched the smooth Audi owners video Unbelieveable. Jake - many thanks for the Maxima advice of selling it out right! I only got 3 phone calls for the Maxima - one was a dealer LOL! I'll keep this thing for years - just like I did with the Maxima. AND, I have to say those three guys at the dealership frigging helped me get a car . Going to a smaller city means nicer service and better prices in some cases. It was worth my dfrive to be treated A+ - while they mentioned that I was rebuilding quite well, etc. Nice guys - we did everything within 3 hours - with only about 1/2 for finaNCE. I turned in my credit application - voluntarily - and Dan worked that, then came back and said we should use Cap One. I said OK - and in 10 minutes, I went to do final paperwork. Cap One really came through. ALL - I am not sure how you get on the offer from Cap One for the auto loans - probably just pay your bill oerfectly and more inside Cap One offers will come. And I didn't have to do anything unusual or sleazy - I just paid a high interest rate - which has no prepayment pealties - fine. AND BEST OF ALL - YOu want a Benz? You want a Vette? You can actually GET IT from Cap One. I have already called GEICO, paid the new vehicle difference ($109) by AMEX, and have already received proof of insurance certificates by fax from GEICO. Again, GEICO does have excellent service as always. I have been with them 8 years. OK, now back to the real world - my first payment is 7/22. But - aarrffff - dogman

Oh please Oh please drive it by that other dealership!!!! Years ago I went to buy a new car. My husband absolutely HATED the car buying process. I went to buy the car and then he would show up to sign any papers. (We were already pre-approved). I went to the dealership and the guy there refused to speak to me about the car. He kept telling me to go get my husband. I explained that my husband hates car shopping and that I am going to do it. He said "You tell your husband I will make him such a great deal he'll be glad he came". I finally got i nsulted enough to leave. Went to dealer in the next city, bought the same model car that day, drove it straight to the other dealership and asked for the sales manager. When he came out I told him to look at my car that I just bought at a competing dealership because HIS salesman refused to deal with a woman. He was all apologies and I just walked away. What an awesome feeling!!!!
