    I had emailed Ford about my late payments saying that I want the proof or I would be forced to consult with my attorney and possibly file a lawsuit. I got an email saying they have investigated my acct and because they value me as a customer they will remove all derogatory remarks! They faxed over the paper they send to Experian and they checked the box to prevent tape override. Is that so they can never update it as late again?

    Congrats. And yes, that is so when the tape updates again, the lates will not be allowed to be re-entered.
