Congress said that the date of last activity which is the determining date is the date upon which you failed to make your last payment which led to the delinquency. I think it would be clear that if it went delinquent and you later paid it in full or by whatever means got a reinstatement of the account that would reage the account but that would be about the only way that I can see given the intention of Congress that they could get away with any such reageing if somebody sued them for it. Maybe I'm wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.
