    Allen, please clarify.

You say your last late pay is gone. Is that your last derog? Is your report now clean?

I'm assuming there must be at least 1 other derog since you only got an 11 point boost.

    Congrats tho, that's great.

It says I have 0 potentially negative items...

I believe my score is low because I owe about $16k on my cc's and I have only 34% free.

    hope that helps

    thanks!

    Hmmmm...

I still woulda thought you'd get a bigger boost for your last derog. Maybe 30-40 points.

I'm no expert on scores tho.

    Where's Doc?

    :)

Or looked at a different way, a high utilization can TRASH your scores, all else being positive?

    Are utilization ratio's that powerfull?

Pay down your ratio and see what happens?

    :)

Your score is affected, primarily, by the four reasons given (in order) with the score.

    What are they?

    ok here goes:

    Positives:
â?¢ Three or more credit relationships on your credit profile
â?¢ No derogatory information (such as a collection, charge-off, or bankruptcy) on your credit profile
â?¢ The average length of time since your accounts were opened is greater than five years
â?¢ Few, if any, 30 day (or more) delinquencies

    Negatives:
â?¢ The outstanding balances on your revolving accounts are greater than the average in your credit category
â?¢ Application for credit made in the last two years

looks like i have 9 hard inquires.. all from 2001...

now what do i do? :)

    thank you!

now im off to cvs to get some stuffy nose medication
