I started disputing after I found this board in early December. Everything has been going great... but I guess I have opened a can of worms. I checked yesterday and my EXP score was down 20 points because of a new collection account listed as OSI for $342.00. It says it is still open, but 180 days late. I do not have any idea what this is, so I sent the validation letter today. I cannot believe something this little would make my score go down 20 pts when I got three deletions in a week and only gained 19 pts. But they cannot break my spirit! This is my first setback... so it is a little disappointing, but I am in this for the long haul.
OSI is also known as gulf state. Make sure it's not listed on reports by both. These guys are the scum of the earth. Wait til you get the green card back and then dispute it with the cra's. In my experience, they don't verify. Good luck.

CA's deal in volume and like any business need to be productive and go afer the "low hanging fruit" There is little profit to be made in spending the "man hours" or in the case of CA's "simian hours" in investigating exhaustively to see that the consumer is being treated fairly. BTW to any CA employees reading this: Validate this.........baby! go get a real job
