After one year, I have successfully completed rehabilitation my Sallie Mae student loans with the guarantor, Ed Fun. From my understanding, Edfun is unable to request removing TLs that was placed by Sallie Mae. Anyway, I pulled all my 3 CRs and noticed that Sallie Mae TLs were all deleted in TU, EX, but not in EQ. What should I do? Thanks!
The same thing happened to me but I didn't do anything about it. I am just know starting to dispute the items after about 4 years. Knowing what I know today. First thing I would do is call the reporting agency(people who report you late to CRA). Tell them about the error and see if you can get it fixed from there. You should be able to. I believe the law says they would remove from all reporting agences. If that doesn't work. I would dispute as not mine with the CRA. I don't know why equifax doesn't come off with the others.
