    All,

If you know of ANY downpayment assistance programs that I can qualify for can you please post them. I'm looking at a home in Monroe County PA. My salary is considered high for most programs (don't know why) which is $71,000.

I've been doing my own research but keep coming up empty :(.

    Two quesitons,

Are these programs tax deductible for the seller ? Otherwise I can't see why the seller would go for these programs unless they wanted to sell their home badly.

The greater price of the home, the greater the fee they pay toward the fund.

The seller goes for these prograns because the buyer increases the purchase price to compensate for the seller's contribution.
