Since I have very few credit problems listed, I am confident they can get off within 1-6 months. On each CU there's only 2-4 delinquencies and such to dispute, and 1 inquiry on TU, 4 on Ex, and 8 on Equifax. I am doing the delinquencies first. My Sterling secured card is on the way, which I will use to be more responsible. I'm supposedly getting a checking and savings account this week, and I also am getting a CD. I am probably getting a car loan (with a co signer who makes $120,000 a year and has decent credit) for $6,000. Once I have no blemishes on my credit history and a few on time payments, who would likely give me an unsecured card? And what do I need to do to prepare for an AMEX card? What other cards should I seek, how many, and how long should I wait? Steph
