I was at a meeting in Salem Oregon at the insurance commissioners office, called for by unhappy insurance agents and consumer groups who see that using credit scores to determine your premiums is an unfair conspiracy.

A guest speaker who owns a credit bureau (and is outspoken against scoring) was preparing his notes when the repfrom FICO, I believe his last name is Lo, walks up smiling and says: "My daughter is having credit problems---can you help? You do credit repair, right?"

What an idiot!!! ANother of the BIG THREE repositories has accused this man of 'credit repair', and so tell me they DIDNT know about this meeting and have the IDIOT FICO rep try to trap him. This is serious, people. Your insurance rates are affected by your scores which are determined by a system filled with mistakes and unfair methods. The score used by the insurance people is DIFFERENT than your regular credit type--and you DONT GET TO know what it is to defend yourself!
