I have one of my car loans showing up on my equifax 2 times. I have never been late (its with household - THOSE PRICKS!!!) and I have had it about a yr. Since I owe about 13 grand on the car still, it shows as more debt than what I really owe,

Should I delete it? It is a positive....

What is the website that I can complain about household? They told me after 1 year of not having any payments late, they would lower my interest. What they did was pull a hard, and they denied based on my credit score. THEY SUCK!!!

I would play hardball with them just because I like that sort of thing...point out that if they DO NOT correct it, it is a $1000 violation for "inaccurate reporting", even for an OC according to the FCRA. (Sec 623. Responsibilities of furnishers of information to consumer reporting agencies).

I would send them a letter, CRRR pointing out this inaccuracy and tell them unless one is removed, you will allow the situation to "escalate to proper authorities".

It has workd several times for me for similar inaccuracies.

Well, sorry I was not clear! Yeah, but the way to go about it is to point out the inaccuracy and if they give you a hard time, you have the paper trail and a violation.

It is an open account right now, and it is affecting your score, and what you pay out monthly. Get it deleted.
