So I sent a DV letter to MCM about a particular account that showed up on my credit report. I never got a letter for it but they never had my address either. Either way, when I saw it, I sent a DV. That was in mid July. I then disputed this account with the credit bureau and haven't gotten a response yet - but either way - I just got another bill for this account, as if they never received my DV or won't acknowledge it. I'll know for sure when the credit report comes back. What should I do??? Just wait for the credit agency or write MCM back??? Any advice is absolutely appreciated!!!!!

Sounds like continued collection without validation to me.

    Cha-ching!

They must stop collections and request validation of the debt. That letter they sent you better be a dunn letter letting you know your rights and not demanding payment.
