I have a student loan currently in Rehabilitation program with a collection agency. I've been making monthly payments since January of this year. The problem is: my June payment was sent in 2 days earlier, meaning I made 2 payments within one month, both in may. One is at the begining of May, the other at end of May (5/30) which is meant for June. However, they don't accept my May 30th payment is for June and said that I failed to make 12 consecutive payments. Is there anything I can do about this? Somebody please help me!
I'm sorry but that is BULLSHIT. You made the payments as agreed - the worst they can do is not allow that extra payment to go towards the next month (but they still have to credit it to your account) I do not see how anyone could possibly say you breached the contract. CAN ANYONE ELSE ADD SOME INFO HERE PLEASE!!!
