I still love my MBNA card as well. They pull an A/R about every 3-5 months. Usually TU or EQ, never seen them pull EX

We had Chase and MBNA jacked up for utilitzation.

Now, MBNA got a phone call, was told about my DH's post divorce problems and after he informed them that he will never be able to pay this card off with such a high rate (it was high in the twenties), the gal lowered it to %14.9. Not good, but better than close to their default rate.

Chase for a change is not cooperating. They either quote nonexistent downward FICO changes (hey, DH's FICO stopped going down some time ago) or high utilitzation.

Yet, no other creditor seems to be bothered with the utilization percentage. We used to have such a high utilization that we were almost out of credit cards, and neither AmEx nor Citi and not BoA even batted an eyelash.

    Go figure.

And just what is high utilization?
It's what ever figure they say it is.
If you have 50,000 available and have 5000 out that's high utilization if they want to jack your rate.

LB: why did you ask if the collection was with a CA?

Because you said in your other post (I have a collection that is reporting over 120 days late.) and you can't be past do or late with a CA.

I am in the process of settling it. With full deletion in writing I hope.

Thats kind of what I though you meant but I had to make sure. Is there a specific place that states that? Like the FRCA?

P.S. This thread has be officially hijacked.

To be late you have to have a to have a due date.
There is no due date on a CA.
What's the due date on the dunning letter you got from the CA?
