I've been getting letters rearding CLD on my Master Card Accounts that are from my Credit Union in Florida. I've been a faithful member since the early 80s and have never been late on any payments. Even when I relocated to AZ. I kept my membership with them because it was always so easy to pick up a phone and talk to a familiar voice who took care of things for me as in financing a car and such. But when I called to inquire about this letter I was told that everybody was getting the same form letter. That the Rep. I had dealt with for years had been laid off, and the Credit Union was trying to cut losses because of the skyrocketing Foreclosures and Defaluts. ***Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union, the largest credit union in South Florida with assets of $1.8 billion, received no stars. No other credit union in Florida ranked that low. Eastern Financial had the lowest capital ratio in the state, and its $18.2 million third quarter loss was the second largest in the state. Seems it's time to relocate my business closer to home here in AZ. since everybody that used to work in Florida is gone and the Credit Union seems to be in not too shape!
