My g/f has a Plat Select - student version. She's had this card for 7 years and it's really the only card she uses on a consistent basis. That being said, they almost never will give her a CLI. I figure it's because of the "student" status. She's been out of school for 4 yars now and makes 6-7x what she did as a student. They don't care really and she's stuck w/ an $1800 limit. Do you think she could trade up to like the Diamond Rewards card and get out of that "student" status and get going with a real usable CL?
Try to trade for the DIAMOND CARD FIRST and see what happens... She MAY have to APPLY for a new card... Then transfer the $1,800 to the new card...(IF SHE WANTS TO)...then close the STUDENT CARD.
