Economy & FICO Scores

    Hey,

    Could the state of the economy, on any given day, be factored into your FICO score? If Wall Street is having a bad day, will your FICO drop a few points?

    It's just a thought...or perhaps not.

    I CAN'T EVEN GET "EXTRA" CREDIT FOR PERFECT CREDIT SINCE 1978!!!

    Just a thought George, on you not being able to get extra credit due to perfect credit problem.


    I was once told by an auto insurance person that having a perfect driving record and no accidents for a long period of time was actually bad for your rates as probability favors you having an accident! Regression to the mean. I had a perfect history for many years and then 3 in one year! My rates never went up and I had 2 claims on the 3.

    Could creditors be using the same reasoning in your case?
