What is up with them? They didn't post an electronic payment to my account. After numerous letters, phone calls, and waits on hold I finally got it resolved by complaining to my university. But there have been many problems just like this. If you pay quarterly and pay before their 20 day billing cycle period they apply payment all to principle. However, by law they are required to apply the payment first to outstanding interest and then to principle. Are they just incompetent or can they benefit from this? I don't get it.
Yes, they are not very organiz I have two loans with them and they applied the loans to the wrong account. I posted my problems with them a few weeks back. They usually handle perkins's loans. roni
RE: Yes, they are not very org They are sneaky with putting lates on your credit report. Dont forget the option of rehabilitating late payments. I am in the process of doing that now. roni
