Please share your progress report: When did you call to ask for help; what have EFX told you, did they split your file; are some of you able to view your report online once again? Called 7/19/2002 for help. Was told my file was to large. I was told there was a 64 line limit. I asked why don't they delete all the soft inq's they create.Talked to a supervisor. Will email in 5 business days. No progress.
Received the lovely 45D error last week. Emailed first, no response ( big surprise huh) Called CS, spoke with rep, she stated file was too long and there was nothing she could do, got transferred to supervisor, same crap I got very upset but they didn't seem to care. They told me they would cancel my membership, I said fine, the credited me 59.00 about 3 days ago. For the hell of it I went and tried to order CW again, I got in and got one new report, but then they next day got the 45D error, my card was NOT charged. I even tried to order score power guess what I get message they can't identify me LOL. I just sent off a long email and snail mail, basically telling them to fix this error or I will talk with everyone and every business and media outlet I can find, I doubt it will work but I gave it a shot.
THE PROBLEM CAN BE SOLVED BY DELETING ALL SOFT...IF THAT WON'T WORK...DELETE HARD OVER 12 MONTHS OLD...IF THAT WON'T WORK...DELETE HARD 6+ MONTHS... Somebody "PICKED" this 64 number out of a hat!!! What if you had 70 credit cards??? ALL OPEN???
I reached approximately 126 inquiries, and now I've defaulted to a 2nd file. This sucks because I had a clean report, now showing 5 previously deleted accounts, and the SOB's have listed a 5 year old paid student loan as 120+ days past due. I've went from a 741 to a 630 Back to the drawing board. Gib
OK, then, the website deal is back on? I think the public embarrassment will be worth it.
