Hello, I know there's an EFX affliate in TX (CSC) whom many of you have had some success with disputing inquiries...but, is there a "CSC"/EFX affiliate in California? Any help would be appreciated. TIA, Ted
If you go to www.equifax.com and start an online dispute, it will ask for your zip code. It will then either let you start a dispute or tell you which affiliate you have to dispute with.
Done that Yes, I know. It just goes right into the dispute process...I guess with their main HQ in Atlanta. Based on your description, Pat, I assume that the Texans on this board get a message telling them to contact CSC in Houston. No cigar for the weirdos like me in Cali... TIA, Ted
Does this help? Ted, Here is an old thread talking about the EQ affiliates: http://consumers.creditnet.com/stra...d.php?s=&postid=61963&highlight=C**#post61963 and here is a location listing for the CBC companies (who I have to deal with in Ohio for EQ disputes). They list three branches in CA. Bakersfield, Fresno and Redding. http://www.cbc-companies.com/locations.htm
Dispute Department? Hey Pat, Thanks for the time to look up the info & post it. I was perusing the website and couldn't find any mention regarding their services to dispute http://www.cbc-companies.com/screening3.htm#credit In any case, I will be sending all 3 branches (Fresno, Redding, & Bakersfield) my dispute. Thanks again. Ted
Re: Dispute Department? Ted, Just a thought, but you might only want to hit one of them. What happens if 2 delete and 1 verifies? Or something along those lines...
