Do you know which credit report is pulled for an ELAN card? ( for their unsecured VISA classic ) I couldn't find anything on Doc's link. Thanks guys
Interesting... when I do a Google search for "Elan VISA" (link), I get hundreds of sites offering such a card. Some of the banks offering what they call an "Elan VISA" are: National Bank of Commerce Elan VISA: http://www.nbofc.com/personal/visa_mastercard.html Firstar Elan VISA: http://www.firstar.com/persfin/creditcard/rewardprogram.html Bank of Elmwood Elan VISA: http://www.bankofelmwood.com/b_creditcards.htm Park State Bank Elan VISA: http://www.parkstatebank.com/personal.htm Cardunal Savings Bank Elan VISA: http://www.cardunal.net/ And that's just the first page, lol. It looks like "Elan" is a popular name for VISA cards. Then I checked elanvisa.com but nothing's there. However http://www.elancard.com does bring up a site that appears to be a really subprime lender (terrible rates extended even to those with good credit). Maybe somebody else here will have something additional regarding this. Doc
My credit union markets elan cards, but I've never applied so I have no idea which CRA they use. Not much help I'm afraid...
