Tonight I tried to access a new credit score on Eloans website as I have done numerous times before. It seems that every time I sign up for a score it gives me the last one I had gotten which was a couple of weeks ago. It seems that they have realized people are doing this and have made a "premium" version of the score which includes credit monitoring...seems like everyone is selling out I don't know if anyone has posted about this already..if so my apologies
E-loan does not pull a hard for the score. My question is where does the Eloan score come from. It doesn't match any of my other scores TU, Exp or EQ.
watch out for lending tree also. I usually do it to run up soft inquiries which may or may not bounce out my hards(seems to be working). Lately though instead of pulling a softie I am getting hard pulls from MBNA. Also, they keep pulling even when I do not. I have 6 hards in 1 week from MBNA.
well, eloan soft inquiry only shows up on TU. It's higher than the fake TU, but that doesn't mean anything. And the fact that it doesn't match up w/ other scores doesn't really mean anything either. they could have their own scoring system. It's really close to my EQ score though.
Why is this still a question? It comes from TU. That's easy to see, as that's where the inquiry shows up. Further, there is no way it will match the fake score TU gives you, because that score is, well, fake.
Right now, my score with TU is exactly the same score that I get from the Eloan. And it does suck that this is not free anymore.
I just noticed on eloan. It says my score is 617 from august 12. I guess they are going to one score only per person. This stinks.
I used eLoan last Tuesday for my score and was returned a 681. 15 minutes later (after checking my wife's) I used my middle name instead but everything else the same. It returned a score of 676! What the heck! Hard pull?
Anyone know how to cancel before the 30 days if you went for the $29 monthly monitoring service? or am I the only sucker???
ummm, I must've missed something. Where do you go to get a free TU report every day? Does TU have a service like CW and CE that provides unlimited access to report and score?
On eloan credit score site try signing up as a new user with a different email address, login name and new password - this worked for me.
yeah Texan, used to work for me too, but not anymore!! He's talking about signing up for a TU report on their website, and saying you've been denied credit in the last 60 days, and getting a free online report. I do it every couple of weeks, but I think they'll catch on really quickly if you do it everyday!!
