Does anyone have a current copy of O'Connor's Texas Civil Forms? My copy is older and does not contain a form I need to file on Thursday 04-15-04, a Motion for Continuance in Hearing for Summary Judgement because of lack of notice.
    Anybody have one?
    Thanks, southland2.

I take it this is a book you're looking for? (GRIN)

If so, could you run to a local bookstore (or library) and buy a copy, run a photocopy or else write down enough info to create the form on your computer at home and then return the book?

Also, the courts in my state have forms on the web. Have you checked there? I'd have to think that a continuance form would be fairly generic.

At the very least it's always possible if you are VERY NICE to the court clerk that he/she might reach into their desk drawer and pull out a generic copy of the correct form that you could then fill-in-the-blanks and handwrite your continuance on. It's got to be a pretty SHORT statement your'd be submitting besides all the boilerplate identification stuff about the plaintiff and defendant at the top of the form.
