First of all congratulations on your success in court. I will be filing against Equifax very soon and was wandering if you used case law. I need to look up Wenger v. TU, but do you know any other great cases to use???
Hey, what's going on. I didn't cite any case law.. I felt compelled to and did research and found some, but when I was actually in court - it was basically one person, me against a big huge corporate america firm. This is what you want the judge to see.. the odds are stacked against you as an individual and you are getting reamed because the firm is so huge. So it worked in my favor because I was considered a 'victim' by the beuracracy of the big CRA. As long as you have your documentation and paper trail, and tell your story.. you should be okay. Also make sure you can cite the FCRA and FDCPA where it is relevant in your case.. and how you were damaged. Good luck!
Ender thanks for the info, I will pursue this type of scenario should I have to go to court ie the CRA does not take my settlemant. I am just getting my ducks in a row.
