Moved recently and didn't have to let EXP or TU know, they showed updated address from my accounts. EQ sends me a note requesting proof of address (utility bill) and proof of SS (payroll stub). I sent both, along with a copy of my driver's license. They just sent me a note saying that wasn't good enough and they're requesting the same info again. I'm pissed and want to send 'em a note that says I don't need to prove anything to them, they're sending mail to my new and old address and I'm getting it all. I find it amazing I can get hard inquiries removed with a phone call and I have to produce blood samples to change an address...
same issue different consumer, try there fax # its faster (866) 414-9005 try after hrs due to it being buzy alot. beware they change their fax # at least 1 a month but this one is good for now I used it this morning. I would only provide as little info as possible to prove your address they want a phone bill so they can add your # to the report also. payroll info is so they can list your current employment all they need is DL and a copy of your ss card period! dont forget these agencies are " gatheres" of info so they can report it and share it. and they are bound by FCRA laws to make sure its accurate that why they ask for so much proof. good luck
