EQ and deletion of good tradeline

Last night I was checking my EQ report and it stood at 697. This morning, it's 687. I reviewed the reports and the only differences I find is that my Kohl's balance, which was 131 is now 0 and they removed one of my oldest tradelines, it's from Beneficial in 1992. These are the only changes. Why did EQ remove that tradeline? Can I get them to repost it to my account ? I was thinking about sending them a copy of yesterday's report and asking them to place it back on. I can't believe I lost 10 points, especially when I just paid off the Kohl's balance. Any help would be appreciated. I have one or two installment loans that are from 1991 that are still on my report.

Same thing happened to me today, Household updated to zero balance, but they dropped a paid auto loan from 6/93. Score dropped 4 points, what a joke

I just wonder if we send in a copy of our old , yesterday, report, if that would help get it put back on.

Doubt it, since it came from us and not the crediter, and round and round we go, I just hate EQ

It's been closed for some years. I just can't believe my score went down by 10 points!! This isn't even my oldest tradeline.

This happened to me with two accounts on my EQ report 3 months ago. Both accounts showed as paid
, never late and closed (DLA) in 1995 which was 7 years ago. The two accounts disappeared and my score dropped 15 points. I called my local affiliate who indexed an older report and verified that these positive accounts are showing and should stay on for 10 years. She added them back on and my score went up 11 points? WTF? One month later the EQ system again removed these two accounts and I lost 13 points this time. I called the same C/S rep and this time her supervisor advised they have no idea why these accounts won't stay on. EQ then sent me a letter stating these accounts only stay on for 7 years??Huh! There positive accounts.
I will be contacting them shortly to discuss. The only thing I can think of is that these two accounts both had 1 or 2, 30 day lates a few years back. They were both closed, I disputed the lates and the accounts were updated to R1 paid never late. Maybe somewhere in the system these two accounts are still showing this late info and they were removed after 7 years (because they were negative at one time) which is correct. Just a thought. Was your account ever late then changed as a result of a dispute?

Score probably dropped due to the average age of your existing accounts is less now!

Has anybody tried to dispute the fact that it is ten years old? Maybe one could say, "Hey! It is only eight!!"

Absolutely - Reage your own account.

You're gonna have to get tough. Put this back on my report or be sued. After all you report accurately right? Dispute it and force them to investigate and report accurately.

They delete positive TL's to be vindictive.
