One phone tp equifax can call clear up all the inquiries on a report so I dont see the point in paying 10 bucks a month to get the same bumpage equivalent that you can get from PG.

Some are from auto shopping, but that is pretty obvious. ANyhoo, just because you dont see the big deal, as in your situation it may not be, for others, it is an awesome thing. No flame intended...just peek over the fence to see someone else's side of the situation.

I examined the matrix of Gold vs. Silver etc. and didn't see any mention of FICO. Did I miss something? If no FICO, it snoozes big time (again, with the B caveat).

Unlimited pulls (updated every 24 hours), email notification of changes in a day or two, no fear of a split report, no fear of hard pulls. Plus I see all softs. It's a good warm fuzzy for $5 per month.
I called EQ to ask about getting a score with Gold. I was told that is not an option, not even for a small additional fee. And if I wanted a score, assuming I had Gold, I would need to purchase one of the other products to get the score at the regular price. ABout CW giving you reports of changes on your report, it's garbage. I signed up for the 30 day trial and I get CW alerts and it alerts me to nothing. There were no changes to my report, but I get the email notification. When I called to ask why I was getting an alert, I'm told because the account showing is in dispute and they are letting me know it's in dispute. Then when I ask why the other 2 tradelines don't show up in the CW alert, they are dumbfounded. Bottom line is that unless your looking for possible bumpage or you want a real EQ report, it's nothing special for the price. Infact, I'd say it''s over priced.

Re: Re: EQ Creditwatch gold is here !! When I called up EQ the rep told me the reason why its more expensive than their other plans is that you get the $20,000 of ID theft insurance. Thats the whole deal with the CW Gold. If youre trying to monitor your credit and get scores and all, then that is definitely not the program you want. I ended up going with the buy 3 get 1 free plan. Getting a score every 2 months isnt so bad, and you give yourself enough time to really make a difference in your score. Just my 2 cents....

As mentioned above it offers a monitoring utility that emails you of any changes and updates every 24 hours and allows you unlimited pulls.
