Hello Everyone, On my first round of disputes...I noticed on my reports a listing for a CA called National Recovery. The debt was for a local gas company. I actually PAID that back balance to the gas company over four years ago, to be able to get service in my name at my new apartment. I mistakenly disputed the account with EQ as 'incorrect', and now it's come back as checked. What should I do? Should I re-dispute as 'not mine' or send a letter to the CA demanding they remove it, because the amount was paid in full to the gas company? Thanks in advance!
The GAS COMPANY was paid 4 years ago...ASK THEM TO HAVE IT REMOVED... F.Y.I.--"CHECKED" means NOTHING...they "CHECKED" the computer screen to see if it was there...YES it was there so it was "CHECKED" They did not see if it was paid or if there was any problems with it reporting...they just looked at the computer screen!!! THEY DID NO RESEARCH...SINCE LOOKING AT A COMPUTER SCREEN IS NOT RESEARCH!!!
