I just rec'd my EQ results back that were sent on 12/8. EQ held my disputes , did nothing but run my report on 12/31 and sent a letter that stated: "Per the FCRA of 1997, the items noted in your most recent letter to our office have been previously disputed and re-verified with the furnisher on 6/28-01,7/31/01, 11/01/01. Per the FCRA, this office is not required to take further action on the disputed item(s) unless you, the consumer, provide documentation revelant to your dispute( a signed notice on letterhead from the furnisher indicating a change in the disputed item status. Is this valid, if so, what can I do from here? Am i done?
About 4 months ago they sent out there form sheets that the vendor checks off info regarding me such as adress, ss#, etc. For God sakes they send a form with all my info and they just verify it and send it back. This is like giving someone answers to the test beforehand!
