Hi all, Here's an interesting question...30 days ago, I disputed the dates of filing and release of my state tax lien with EQ. On August 7, I noted that it had come back verified. ic alled, and they said, yes they had verified it as being mine. i said I was disputing the dates, not whether it was mine, and they said they had read my letter wrong, and would start a new investigation. I stated clearly on the phone, and in a foillow up letter that I was not interested in a new investigation, and that the investigation that began on July 15th should be completed. Today, I called, and they said that the investigation was underway, and not due to be completed until Sept. 7. What to do -- by all rights, the account should have been deleted today. Instead, they are now saying that they are sending someone physically to the courthouse (!!!WTF!) to pull the actual docs. Should i threaten to sue since the 30 days are up? Advice, please!!!
