has anyone tried entering a zip code into EQ that is different than their 'real' one in order to submit a dispute online instead of with their region? my search for "EQ zip code" turns up no hints on previous posts. it all gets back to EQ anyway, so what would it hurt?
i guess this does not work, it appears my credit file is missing a 'confirmation number' that the online dispute needs., the only confirmation number I get is not what it is looking for. has a combo of letters and numbers, whereas the online dispute is looking for numbers only ah well, stupid EQ/CSC
I would love to know if this works, because many people here have complained that they hate the fact they can't dispute online, and have to deal with their local affiliates. I mean, should you try to type in a zip code that is still in your state, so it won't look suspicious?
ive tried different zip codes in texas, they all seem to point you right back to CSC in Houston. the report us CSC people see must be different than what other EQ people see..the confirmation numbers are different ?
