After a couple of moths of squabling with Sterling Jewelers Inc AKA Kay jewelers AKA Marks & Morgan Jewelers about a large debt , I was able to get their agreement to delete for 25%. Account was listed twice & reaged under Kay jewelers and Marks & Morgan. I sent the money. they sent the deletion paperwork TU deleted, Ex deleted. Eq did not. Out of paranoia, I redisputed with Eq and at the same time contacted the lady at Sterling asking for a copy of the deletion paperwork. She sent it to me(a udf). I am sure she sent it to EQ. I looked today the two trade lines are there with no investigation in progress any more and still show a balance and charged off. Well golly, I am very upset with them. Who shall I contact for a quick resolution to this? I will try to remain a civil being for just a little longer. I do not look forward to talking to a know nothing rep on the phone. I think I saw some other contact info somewhere here. Here I go search. Since EQ has taken it upon themselves to be mean. Please everyone else be nice.
Do a search here for Equifax's fax #. Fax copies of the deletion letter/udf to them. It shouldn't take more than a few days then to get if removed.
Since you have REFUSED to delete...see "UDF" (copy attached)...please make arrangements to send the $1,000 immediately so I don't have to waste my time and yours in SMALL CLAIMS COURT... If you pay in 10 days I will accept $500.00 COULDN'T HURT...
Hey George, I don't think you remember, but back in May, when I existed as gilliner, you were one of the first to give advice on the whole Marks & Morgan ordeal. Of course, I had to learn about your socks which ate your contribution to that thread minutes later. Do you think they would appreciate me not waisting their time by allowing them to just pay me? LOL
