I had a dispute of 3 collections on 5/8. Checked on them today via phone and the rep tells me "Can't find them." I pulled CreditWatch to see if they would display: The dispute # shows, but the dates are now ALL 00's. Here is what is says: Confirmation #: (the one I had) Date investigation started: 00/00/0000 Estimated Completion Date: 00/00/0000 I surely can't be the first person that this has happened to. Do I have any recourse? EQ rep says "sorry...we can dispute them again for you." I tell them thanks, but no. I need to have something in writing or something that I can print (should have done that the first time). Thanks...I'll hang up now and listen to your response (guess I 've been listening to too much talk radio).
The rep didn't know what they were talking about. When the dispute dates change to all zero's, they are updating your report as a result of your disputes. If you check online today, most likely no disputes will be showing and you can call back for the results.
