When an item is placed in dispute and it is not calculated into FICO, does this mean that your score won't increase when it is removed? Do they grant you all of the points that are lost by the entry being on your credit report? Here I am thinking I'll gain a ton of points, but since its in dispute, I might not gain any more than what I already see. Thing is...I didn't gain more than a few when it went into dispute. Hmmmmm.

Whyspers, it has been my experience that I picked up minimal points (1-2 max) when it was deleted. It is very anti-climatic!

This is because you don't find fair treatment in a crocked operation
