Here is one silly issue... Got my EQ a lot late than the other two. Anyway, two derogs in there. One in particular is Home Shoppng Club. Status is charge-off. They list the company as GE Capital Credit Services and address is: PO BOX 2904, SHAWNEE MISSION, KS 66201-1304. So, I send out my validation request, CMRRR of course. Lo and behold, my letter comes back to me unopened. Undeliverable as per USPS. I check with BBB and find several addresses for GE Capital. I check the one that EQ has on my file and verified that GE is no longer there. Phone disconnected and mails returned to BBB as well. However, as I've mentioned, there are other GE Capital Credit addresses in KS but this is EQ's mistake, not mine. I dispute this with EQ anyway and see if they verify this. Wondering what I need to do next if they do. Should I re dispute and send them a copy of this undelivered validation letter or go ahead and threaten and send them an ITS? Any suggestions?
