    Iam a CSC customer (regrettably).

I have had Credit Watch for 10 months during this time I have racked up tons of internal inquiries. Yesterday I tried to pull my report. I got the dreaded "Error Code 45D" message. Like I suspected, my file has now split. I called the 800 CW #. They were so nice and apologetic. "We will be glad to credit your AMEX $6.44 for the balance of your subscription." I explained that I was 1. Locked Out 2. Unable to be scored by FICO and 3. Missing in excess of 20 positive tradelines over the last 8 months. The rep listened and said that there was nothing they could do about this, call CSC in Houston because they "own your file." I called CSC and got a rep, then a supervisor, then a manager. All said the exact same thing--they would not remove the inquiries and there was nothing they could do to fix this problem, EQ would have to do it. This is classic--CSC points the finger at EQ, EQ points the finger at CSC. I finally got a CSC manager and a EQ Supervisor on a 3 way call. Guess what? They got into a fight over this with me listening! In the end they both suggested that I get an attorney. Can you believe this? Two people, management employees, suggest that the only way to fix my split file, find my missing 20 tradelines that are residing in hidden data clusters, is to sue them! I am so sick of the topic I could scream! Do you know how much trouble (and $$) it is going to be to sue these idiots? Anyone have any suggestions?

Wow! I have the same identical problem as you..... however my file split and old items that were deleted and removed over 1 1/2years ago have been put back on with the original old reporting dates which are 2-5 yrs last time updated..... They've given me many excuses online. I've sent two letters one came back indicating if i wanted to dispute please fill out the form!!! NO NO NO, the items were removed I'm not going to dispute and risk the chance of someone now verifying.. They all were removed about 12 accts Sent second letter, which has been signed CRRR. Although I do believe they have it.

I still can review pending disputes from old reports online, and I see misc report dates popping up. I hope they haven't re-disputed these accounts and they come back verified this time, eventhough EQ removed.. I can get them on the re-insertion, because the dates the last time the acct reported again is between 2-5yrs ago... That rules out them getting back to eq and they re-inserted... Sorry for the long run on, but now i read your struggle and see I'm not alone.....

    Lisa,

I had the same problem as you. When I first started w/ my EQ (CSCaca), I only had 6 negs & no pos. But when I started disputing, everything came together. That is, they put my file BACK together after splitting it when I changed my name in 97 (after I met my bio father).

Then about 2 weeks after that, 9 pos came off. I was HOT! So I emailed bobcutrone@equifax.com. I explained to him that the idiots at CSC couldn't help me, as in they don't know enough about what they are doing to help me. Well, he passed the issue down to vickibanks@equifax.com. She only dishes out bullcrap. She thinks that consumers are stupid. She told me that the 9 pos were deleted b/c my file was too big. I laughed for about 15 seconds at her and said "Vicki, I'm not stupid". So she passed it on to the real VP of consumer affairs, a guy named Chris Roeber (not sure of the last name), and he told me that he was going to attempt to manually put the pos back, but if it won't take it, then he'd have to delete the oldest items. When I checked 2 wks later, only 2 pos had been reinserted, but several negs were missing as well. So I didn't complain.

In dealing with EQ, and talking to others that have dealt w/ them for years, your only option is to sue them. They won't bend or help you in any way. Be aware though if you sue them, they will block you and all creditors out. No one will be able to access your EQ file, it will say "file not found". I know a guy who sued EQ 6 years ago, and is still blocked out.

I would contact bobcutrone@equifax.com and tell him your problem, and that you are well aware that CSC owns your file but they don't know what they're doing. He will pass it down to Vicki Banks, but just don't take her crap, stand firm w/ her. Meanwhile, try to locate this Chris Roeber (sp?). Also, contact the OC's of your pos accts, and get them to reinsert.

Repost, and lemme know how it's going.
