3205 Invalid Avenue...lol These $#%@s refuse to remove Pop's "current address" unless he sends proof (yeah, we got that form letter) BUT they have no problem ADDING addresses without proof and its especially funny when they add addresses that do not exist!! And...is Experian a pain for anyone else? The other 2 dropped an account easily, but EX says "verified" Yuck.
I must have gotten lucky. I called the other day and had previous addresses removed from my husband's report. I didn't think they would do it since it is his report, but the guy acted like it was no big deal. I started by correcting something on my report, then said "My husband has a bunch of incorrect addresses, what does he have to do to have them removed?" Guy asked for his SS# and removed 15 different addresses!!! Some were just variations is spelling, but still huge. Maybe if you call back you will get a more cooperative rep. Good Luck!!!
couple of weeks ago my GF called and removed all former addresses. and even updated her current address. Yesterday we check her credit report and one of the old addresses is listed as current and current is previous. So she calles today and they tell her to send DL, SSN, etc. She calls back in a couple of hours (whith me on the phone this time) and they updated it with no problem. Which brings to another question. They mailed her investigation results yesterday and it went to the incorrect address. She will never receive it. Is this a violation on their part that they sent it to a wrong address.
