I have an account listed on my equifax report from ford motor credit.( auto loan) It was listed with a bal of 0 and IIB, they changed it today to "pays 91-120", bal 0 and revolving account. How much impact do you think this has, I will check fico next week just wondering if this hurt or helped? it is my oldest acct, opened 1995, DOLA 4-99 so don't really want it to go away completely.
Hi Trent, Does it still say IIB? If so I don't think it hurts your score. Although not completely sure, I think IIB's are not FICO factored.
no they took the IIB off. it says now pays 91-120, bal 0 closed by consumer, revolving auto loan ford motor credit
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it probably tanked your scores. "Pays 91-120 makes it look to FICO as if you are CURRENTLY PAST DUE. -0- balance doesn't matter.
PG scores went up 20 points, I know that does not factor in real life. Just wondering, dont want to spend the cash to check. I did dispute the info.....who knows what will happen
Trent, In that case I'd do something. Jodi, Do you know if IIB is withheld from the FICO algorithm? ???
Re: Re: Equifax changed my acct? i disputed some of my IIB accounts as "not mine" and some of them reported as a paid charge off. when i pulled my FICO, it had gone down. the paid charge off is a score killer compared to IIB. i would continue to dispute the account as "i do not have a charged off/late account with blah, blah." I did that a few weeks ago, and MBNA is now reporting a 0 balance closed revolving account with no remarks. My FICO went up 11 points. you are not lying about not having a charged off account, and you are not verifying your BK.
