Suddenly I'm about four months older according to Equifax. Anybody else have this happen, and what do I do?

Join the club. They made me older than my mother, LOL. Dispute - they will want a copy of your DL. Don't worry, they already have the number.

Today, I received an update from Credit Watch. They just my husband's address. I immediately faxed over proof of residence so hopefully they'll take care of this ASAP.

They changed my birthdate a while back and when I called them one time about something else, they wanted to verify my birthday and I told them what they have is incorrect. It suddenly changed one day from June to December. They changed it back and sent me confirmation in the mail.

They've been changing mine and my husband's date of births every week now for the last 2 months... I'm getting tired of disputing it. Our DOBs don't change on any other report - just Equifax. Weird.

    Look on the positive side:

If your DOB is wrong, you can't be you. Therefore your whole credit report is technically invalid. Someday maybe I'll use that as a defense. "This can't be my stuff, I wasn't born on that date and I don't know what any of this stuff is!"

Oh well so much for technicalities. Everytime mine changes on EQ someone good happens, since dealing with them I don't have anymore negative info on my CR for EQ. I hope my birthdate corresponds to my new Fico Score!

When I first started cleaning up, they had my name wrong! Go figure. At one point, after disputing it 3 or 4 times, I had them investigate my entire credit report. After all, if my name is wrong, what else is wrong? They got it right that time.
