What is going on??? I tried to log into credit watch and it wouldn't let me, so I called the 800 number and they told me my ss# was changed??? My score also dropped 25 points. They said they won't change it back until I send them proof. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Also i had an account in dispute and the credit card company updated it today while it was in dispute and now shows charged off account when it is paid in full~hence the drop in score I guess. I told the person from Equifax that it was being reported wrong and I also asked him why it does not say "consumer disputes" and he said they updated today that they would have to start a whole new investigation adding on another 30 days. Can they do this???? Can anyone tell me what I should do???

    thnx

I WOULD TELL THEM TO "PROVE" THAT THE # THEY HAVE IS CORRECT...but that won't do any good...

First, Copy your Social Security card and send them a copy certified mail return recite requested.

Send a letter the credit card company via Planet Feedback.com (http://planetfeedback.com) about the charge off and call them. Ask them to look into it. Then dispute it again with the CRA.

    Good luck.
