FB-Any information supplied by credit reporting companies not affiliated with Equifax So they do communicate with each other. Then why is it they only accept negatives from other cra's? Why won't they accept a deletion from another cra after an investigation?
Good question, LKH! I bet this is no answer to it though.... It really disgusts me that strangers have access and "ownership" of my personal info.
Then what is an FK coded inquiry? I have one of those. It was from Dillards who issued a card to my imposter (the other woman who has a similar name). I called Dillards and they removed the account from my Experian report but not her name (which is exactly mine except for the fact that she has a middle initial and I don't). After I called them, they must have decided to make sure the account had not been reported to EQ and thus, I have an FK coded inquiry on EQ. I have no way of knowing whether that is a soft inq or hard as EQ does not mention FK coded inquiries. I've tried calling but gave up after being on hold for so long.
