If there was an error on my credit file and i wrote to Equifax about the problem, does anyone know long does it usually take for Equifax to correct the problem?
Depends on what the dispute was about, how much research they have to do, and so on. I've never seen one of CRA disputes go past 30 days.
They need to complete their investigation and respond within 30-45 days after they receive the dispute.
