????Equifax Credit Report

    Just received cr and went online to dispute it and items not there to dispute, what does this mean. !!!!!

    What items are you looking for? Were they at one point ON your EQ report? Or- are they just on OTHER reports?

    Received Feb2003 report and a item on there from Providian and Unifund was not on line to dispute....do I send a dispute letter instead.....

    If they're not on there, there's nothing to dispute.

    Were they on previous reports?

    You may have a split file? I'd call them to find out.

    Yes, they were on previous reports, I just don't understand how they can show up on the report and then when I go to dispute, they are not there. Very confuseddddddd

    Again, call them and check to make sure that you don't have a split file. Either way, they will give you the answer over the phone. If they are gone, that's great, but I wouldn't set my hopes too high.
