Equifax Credit Watch price raise

    A friend of mine has a website that does advertising. He just recently received this update from "LinkShare", a company that distributes the advertising.

    Looks like the Equifax Credit Watch price is going up:

    We have good news for you as a member of the Equifax Link Partner Program!
    Effective August 23, 2001, Equifax Credit Watch(superscript: TM )will retail
    for $49.95! This will mean more revenue per unit for you! Equifax Credit
    Watch(superscript: TM) provides superior service in enlightening, enabling
    and empowering consumers with their credit health, being the first
    monitoring service to notify consumers of potential identity theft with 24
    hours of the change being made to his or her file.

    This new price, coupled with our new incentive structure, can help benefit
    you and your program! As we have announced recently, the new monthly
    incentive structure is as follows:

    - 15% commission on $1-500 in net revenue
    - 17% commission on $501-1500 in net revenue
    - 20% commission on $1501 or more

    I can't wait to see what kind of revenue increase the credit bureaus post next year....I bet its going to be unbelievable.
