I read a post here that included detailed information on various credit watch programs. Equifax was the best deal overal for your money. However, now that equifax has changed from unlimited credit reports to only 4 in a year. Which credit watch program out there is still worth my money. I have no problem with the fact that Equifax put a limit on the number of reports that I can pull. But 4 reports for $70 bucks is way over the line. I can order 4 reports in a year from the same company for only $48 per year without signing up for anything. What I hear Equifax saying is that, they have got so many customers and are no longer interested in any more business. Therefore, I am looking for another company that has similar service. Any ideas out there??????
You actually press the "GET A NEW ONE" and don't get a REPEAT of an old one??? 1-2 new inquires show up every day??? Many people have said they STOPPED the "UNLIMITED" and they advertise "4 SCORES AND REPORTS" and it says NOTHING about "UNLIMITED"
It does say 4 reports, but you can hit get a new one and they do get a new one... Signed up for mine about 2 weeks ago and it said 4 and I cycled through those pretty quickly and hit get a new one everytime I want a new one (can only do it about every 48 hours or so)
Re: Re: Equifax Credit Watch ????? My husband's is the same way although I believe it was the beginning of December when he signed up. When did the change from unlimited to 4 per year take place?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Equifax Credit Watch ????? It was November. I signed up 11/03/02, and just squeeked in to unlimited.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Equifax Credit Watch ????? Wow. This good be great news. I haven't signed up yet because I don't like the fact I'm only limited to 4x a year. Anyone else out there getting unlimited pulls?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Equifax Credit Watch ????? Just checked Equifax- my husband signed up on 11/12/02- he must have just made the cutoff.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Equifax Credit Watch ????? Are you sure they are not charging the credit card you used to sign up? It seems to me they might, if you are still getting unlimited. Be careful, and make sure they are now continuing to charge you for new subscription each time you pull.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Equifax Credit Watch ????? They may charge you $69.95 every time the 4 run out...BETTER CHECK IT OUT!!! If you can wait 48 hours instead of 24 hours and get 1/2 "UNLIMITED" that would be fine...
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Equifax Credit Watch ????? My brother signed two weeks ago. He used already all 4 reports and when he try to get another one they ask for a credit card number and advise him that the card will be charge for $12 something for each aditional report.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Equifax Credit Watch ????? No, they're not charging it. We used one of our debit cards and I'd def. notice it
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Equifax Credit Watch ????? When my husband called and ordered the Equifax Credit Watch the lady told him we could only get 4 reports for the year, ok no prob...she also said we could get unlimited credit scores. When I go on the site, I don't see how I can get a new score. Did my husband tell me wrong?? (this is very possible knowing him, he's clueless with all of this!)
Thanks for all the responses. However, no one has answered the original question. What other company is comparable.
