Here are more reasons why Credit Watch sucks!

They claim that they will send "Email notification within 24-hours of changes posted to your file".

Well, here is a perfect example why that are out right liers.

    1/25/02 Citbank hard inquiry
    1/29/02 Amex hard inquiry

    then.....

2/01/02 Email/online notification of Citibank inquiry

Gee, only 6 days after the fact. And, still no notification of the Amex inquiry.

    Being they say within 24hrs, a day must only be 4 hours in lengh. 6day x 4hours = 24hrs.

I am sick and tired of these bastards lying. I am glad I am not in the same boat as some of you having to deal with these bastards to take off negative information besides them screwing up my birthdate every other month.

    To quote Spaceballs....

    SUCK....SUCK....SUCK....SUCK.....

Exactly. I have an inquiry from last week that I still have not been notified of. 8 days. And, they haven't even updated my report info so the inquiry doesn't show there either. I'm still in the trial period, but I'll be cancelling on Monday. What a crock.

Early last month I was about to continue CE after the 30-day trial. But I saw complaints like this popping up & I decided it wasn't worth it. Especially since they don't have the real FICO, I'd rather keep my 80 bucks!

    Rina,

We are acutally discussing Credit Watch from Equifax, not Credit Expert from Experian. I actually am very happy with Credit Expert keeping in mind the score is not real. I like to see my report every day.

I've been a member of EQ CreditWatch for over four months and have NEVER received any notifications regarding changes to my file. I sent a letter to EQ about this, e-mailed them, but have never received a reply. I've had fifteen changes to my credit file over a period of four months and NO notifications. EX Credit Expert notifies me everytime I have a change, but EQ Credit Watch does NOT.

    Hello Calmest_LA,

I sent them an email last night and will let you know if they reply. Did you email customer.care or somewhere else? BTW, I have only been notified of new creditlines and inquires. Of course not on time. I definately prefer CE to CW.

I don´t see what the problem is. You can easily login to the Equifax site and see if there is any alert
in your file. I have not had any trouble with their cr monitoring system ever!
