well, my equifax creditwatch subscription is expiring soon.
they want 60 USD + tax for the new service, which only allows 1 pull every quarter.
is there any other account that they have that is the same as the one i have now (1 pull every 24 hours?) hidden somewhere?

man..this sucks. I refuse to pay 60 bux for that service if they are only allowing 1 pull a quarter.

Can you order the regular credit report for 9.00? It's good for 30 days and I can pull my report all day if I want.

they key here is pulling a new credit report every day, not 1 then looking at the same one for 30 days. thanks...sorry I did not clarify.

Can you call the 800 number and cancel before your account expires & then reapply?

Their Equifax CreditWatch Gold program does allow one pull a day. It's $9.95/month, though. Here's the detail page:

    https://www.econsumer.equifax.com/consumer/forward.ehtml?forward=cw_detail

I just called them and found out that this does NOT include credit scores, though -- just the scoreless report. Still, for bumpage sake, it may be a good deal.

The friendly (believe it or not) customer service guy I spoke with mentioned one other tantalizing tip. He said, "We often have telephone-only deals and discounts, so call from time to time to find out if one may appeal to you." Today he could offer me a $5 discount on CreditWatch -- not a big deal -- but for someone who is going to sign up anyway 5 bucks is 5 bucks, lol. The phone number I called was 1-866-429-2824.

    Doc

P.S. I just edited my post to include that last paragraph and saw that rackt3 had already mentioned the no-score provision. (Sorry, rackt3, gmta, didn't want to make you sound like you were restating what was already said, LOL -- I hadn't said it yet when you typed it.) :)

Creditwatch Gold. Unlimited reports, but no score. Works fine for me though..

    marc,

Privacy Guard seems to be the way to go since they pull from all three and not just EQ.

I have been pulling from PG once a day. There is a round about way but it works nonetheless.

One person claimed he could pull twice a day.
I haven't figured out how yet but it has to do with the timing of when we pull.

I have a couple of additional questions:
    1) Is the "free" report you get w/ the CreditWatch (EQ) or Credit Mgr. (EX) trial offer the same as the one for $9?
    2) When getting a TU CR, what's the difference between the Personal Credit Report ("the version of your report only you can see") and the Credit Profile ("the version of your credit report that lenders see")? Does one version contain something that the other doesn't??

    I USE SCORE POWER~~$12.95 X 3 = 38.85 + 1 FREE = 4 REPORTS AND F.I.C.O. SCORES!!!

    ONE EVERY QUARTER = 38.85!!!
